Stainless steel 316L (Stainless Steel) is a very durable material that theoretically can not be destroyed. It is hard (non-bendable and unbreakable), color stable, antiallergic (does not react with body fluids and therefore no metal components are not released into the skin and flesh) and has anticorrosive surface (the surface is resistant to oxidation and corrosion. Moreover, it is also resistant to fresh and salt water).
The watch is powered by a battery.

Mineral glass with a sapphire coating provides even greater scratch resistance. However, it doesn't mean that it's completely scratch-resistant.
Flip-lock Diver Clasp is the most widely used method of fastening straps and bracelets of watches. The buckle is also supplemented by a safety stop. If the lock is unlocked there is no accidental dropping of the watch. This is a very reliable method of fastening.
