LIGHT BASE OIL
Light oil is a type of liquid petroleum that flows easily at room temperature and has a low density. Due to the high concentration of light hydrocarbon fractions, it has a low viscosity, low specific gravity, and high API gravity. It often contains little wax. Because it yields a higher proportion of gasoline and diesel fuel when refined into goods, light crude oil sells for more money than heavy crude oil on commodity markets.
